The Tioga County Historical Society, founded in 1914, is a 501(c)3 not for profit educational organization. Its primary mission is “To Make History a Living Presence in People’s Lives,” through the collection, preservation and interpretation of Tioga County, NY history. Our facility houses a research center, gift shop, and several exhibition galleries. From our wooly mammoth tooth to our space shuttle computer processor, we have been preserving our area history for over 90 years.
