Ziang "John" Zhang
Associate Professor
Electrical and Computer Engineering
Background
Ziang "John" Zhang's research goal is to understand the behavior of complex energy system and to bridge the gap between power systems and complex networks. Control theory, graph theory, convex optimization and complex network are used as our tools to discover theories, algorithms, and applications. Real-time Hardware-In-the-Loop(HIL) simulation is another focus of our lab. Zhang received his BS from the Beijing Institute of Technology, an MS from Purdue University and a PhD from North Carolina State University. Before joining ßÙßÇÂþ» he worked at ABB US Corporate Research Center as a Postdoc Fellow.
