Jessica Alaimo, AEM, MPA
Senior Emergency Manager, University at Buffalo
Jessica Alaimo is a Senior Emergency Manager at the University at Buffalo with a proven track record in emergency management and public information. She joined UB in January 2023 after serving the City of Rochester as Press Officer and then as Emergency Operations Coordinator.
During her time in Rochester, Jessica helped coordinate vaccine clinics and testing sites with an emphasis on equitable access for urban communities. Following the pandemic, she shifted her focus to active shooter preparedness and general safety initiatives. Prior to her Coordinator role, Jessica spent six years as the City of Rochester's Press Officer working with local media.
Jessica holds a Master's degree in Public Administration from SUNY Brockport and is a Certified Associate Emergency Manager (IAEM). She is also certified in OSHA Health and Safety Fundamentals.
