Hong Zhang, senior lecturer of Chinese, has published an article, 鈥淒eveloping Language Proficiency through Singing,鈥� in the Journal of Chinese Teaching and Research in the U.S. (2010). She also presented papers at the annual meeting of the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages in San Diego, the Third Business Chinese Workshop at the University of Michigan and the National Chinese Language Conference in Washington, D.C. In addition, she performed a solo concert of Chinese songs at the Phelps Mansion Museum in 哔咔漫画.
