Felicia Moreira
Associate Director for Employer Engagement, Fleishman Center for Career & Professional Development
I am a local to the area, having graduated from nearby Union-Endicott High School. I take pride in being a third-generation Italian American and a first-generation college graduate. My academic journey led me to ßÙßÇÂþ», where I earned both my undergraduate and graduate degrees: a BA in Economics and an MA in Student Affairs & Diversity. My time at BU holds a special place in my heart, filled with great memories and creating lifelong friendships. Commuting to BU presented its challenges, particularly in a predominantly residential university environment. Overcoming this learning curve, I embraced the energetic campus life and found my community as a student-athlete, first as a Colonial for two years and later as a Bearcat for the remaining two years of my undergraduate journey. My time as a student was enriched by the guidance of exceptional faculty and staff mentors who helped me explore my career interests. Immediately after graduating with my bachelor's degree, I continued into graduate school, setting the stage for my professional career, which commenced in Residential Life at BU. Along the way, I made stops and meaningful contributions to the Office for Alumni Engagement and Intercollegiate Athletics. Presently, I am the Associate Director for Employer Engagement at the Fleishman Center for Career & Professional Development. I serve as Vice President on the ßÙßÇÂþ» Alumni Associate Board of Directors. My passion lies in supporting first-generation students on their college journey, with a particular focus on assisting commuter students in navigating their unique experiences.
