Omid Ghaemmaghami

Omid Ghaemmaghami is Associate Professor of Arabic and Near Eastern Studies in the Department of Classical and Near Eastern Studies and Director of the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) studies program at ßÙßÇÂþ». He holds a PhD in Middle Eastern and Islamic Studies from the University of Toronto, an MA in Islamic and Near Eastern Studies from Washington University in St. Louis, and certificates in advanced Arabic from the Dalalah Institute in Damascus and the American University in Cairo (AUC). Omid has taught and lectured on Arabic and Islamic Studies at universities and academic institutions in the United States, Canada, Europe, and Egypt. He is passionate about promoting unity in diversity and contributing to the betterment of the human race.‎
