ßÙßÇÂþ» Women

ßÙßÇÂþ» Women (BUW) is a social organization that brings together women from across the University – staff, faculty, retirees and spouses/partners – for fellowship and service. Its members support the entire lifecycle of University women through programs that build community at the campus and raise funds for scholarships and awards for women students.

Founded in 1947 by Wanda Bartle, wife of Harpur College's first president, the volunteer group offers a number of programs during the academic year for all members and an array of special interest group activities. Whether you are new to the campus or have been at ßÙßÇÂþ» for a while, BUW is a great way to meet people outside your department and make friendships and connections across our campus and in our community.

Don't forget to catch up with us or at BUWomen@binghamton.edu.
