Delta Phi Epsilon arrived to in 1985. Its motto, Esse Quam Videri (“to be rather than to seem to be”), describes the qualities DPhiE promotes in its members. Its well-known and widely supported philanthropic events, including a dodgeball tournament every fall, benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, the National Foundation of Anorexia Nervosa and Associated Disorders, and the sorority’s national scholarship fund.
