Prior to joining ßÙßÇÂþ», Eric Hoffman, PhD, was assistant professor of neurology at Harvard Medical School and Children's Hospital Boston, professor of molecular genetics and biochemistry at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, director of the Center for Genetic Medicine at the Children's National Medical Center, and professor and chair of the Department of Integrative Systems Biology at George Washington University. His research has focused on the genetic basis of human and animal disease, drug development and genetic variation in human populations. New to ßÙßÇÂþ» in 2016, Hoffman plans on facilitating drug development by bridging academic research, stakeholder foundations, governments and for-profits.
