The university police have successfully located and identified all individuals involved in this incident. At this time, those individuals no longer pose a threat to the campus community.

On March 2, the University Police received a report of an assault involving an Airsoft gun along East Drive near Bingham Hall. The incident is reported to have occurred on February 28. The victim stated that, while walking along East Drive, they were hit with an Airsoft pellet fired from a moving vehicle.


The university police are actively investigating the incident and are looking to speak with four persons of interest, one of whom may be operating a red Cadillac. As of now, no one has been apprehended, and the airsoft gun has not been recovered. The university police would like to encourage anyone with information regarding this incident to contact them at 607-777-2393.
