Associate Professor
Background
Primary research interest involves utilizing the pillars of Industry 4.0 to continually improve manufacturing systems and services. This includes, but is not limited to: Autonomous Robots (Collaborative Robots or Cobots), Simulation, the Internet of Things, Cloud Manufacturing, Additive Manufacturing, Augmented Reality, and Data Analytics. The aforementioned also utilizes classical tools such as Design of Experiments, Quality Engineering, and the Science of Manufacturing.
These techniques have been applied to Electronics Manufacturing, Automobile Manufacturing, and Manufacturing and Service Industries in general.
Presently conducting research on Collaborative Robots (Cobots), Digital Manufacturing, Augmented Reality, Electronics Manufacturing, Additive Manufacturing, and 3D Printing.
