Health and Wellness Studies Minor

The Health and Wellness Studies minor complements and enriches interdisciplinary learning at ßÙßÇÂþ».

Overview

HWS minor students critically evaluate scientific literature and research on health, wellness and disease prevention. They then apply this knowledge to assess, plan, motivate and implement health-promoting behaviors and cultivate lifelong wellness in diverse populations.

These educational experiences help students integrate core concepts and pursue careers in health and wellness. We aim to provide a comprehensive understanding of health promotion and wellness education to promote healthy living in both personal and professional aspects.
