"I would recommend this class to anyone with even a slight interest in attending law school as it really paints a picture of the different opportunities that can arise from a legal education. Most importantly though, I think it is necessary to hear from lawyers who are clearly passionate about what they do and want to share their experience with others."

"I went into this course with hesitation and expected myself to not be connected to the material. Instead, I found myself excited to come to class each day and wanting to learn more. I can confidently say that I have never been as excited about pursuing a career in law as I am right now. Taking this class helped me shatter the stereotypes that I had produced in my head about becoming an attorney."

"Taking this course was an extremely rewarding experience as it opened my eyes to many new careers attached to law, helped me redefine and expand my definition of what ‘being a lawyer’ could even be, and helped me to rekindle my interest in law.

HARP 302: Current Issues in Medical Practice:

Eager to learn more about the types of medical specialties and key issues relevant to the medical profession today? HARP 302 is a unique opportunity for students to learn about current issues and a variety of medical practices through interaction with successful ßÙßÇÂþ» physician alumni. Each physician will discuss recent topics and dilemmas facing the medical profession in the 21st century.

“I am extremely grateful that I decided to take this course as it has been one of my favorite classes that I have taken during my time at ßÙßÇÂþ». Not only did HARP 302 introduce me to a variety of incredible alumni physicians, who have now become role models and hopefully mentors, but this class has provided me with an interest in specialties I never knew existed and has reminded me of the love for medicine I had as a freshman.â€

“Each speaker and presentation altered my view and my understanding of the medical field for the better. I am incredibly grateful to have taken this class, and to have been introduced to such incredible alumni physicians. This class reignited my passion for medicine and I am grateful to have a variety of mentors to reach out to with questions.â€

“This course enhanced my understanding of what a future as a doctor may look like, teaching me it probably won’t be the straightforward path that I always imagined, but also teaching me that it can incorporate other things I am passionate about and become unique to my goals. I will carry the lessons I learned with me throughout my future, no matter where it may take me.
