ITS offers Adobe software product licensing exclusively for ßÙßÇÂþ» faculty and staff. There are three different types of licenses available for purchase:

    1. Adobe Named User License: This license is assigned to individual users and allows them to access the Creative Cloud Suite on their personal devices.
    2. Shared Device License: This license is suitable for shared workstations or computer labs, where multiple users can access Adobe software on a single device.
    3. Individual Title- Named User License: This license is assigned to individual users and allows them access to a single software title (Acrobat Pro, Dreamweaver, Illustrator, etc).

Note: Before submitting a request for any Adobe licensing, please consider the following:

    • Determine how, where, and who will be using the Adobe software.
    • Identify the specific products you need for your work.

If you are involved in designing media involving imaging, video, web, and print, purchasing a license for the entire Creative Cloud Suite is recommended.

If your needs include creating PDFs using Acrobat Pro and print media with InDesign, it is more beneficial to acquire the Creative Cloud suite. By doing so, you will receive the most up-to-date version of Acrobat DC. On the other hand, if your only requirement is producing PDFs, there's no need to purchase the complete Creative Cloud suite. Instead, you can simply obtain a license for Adobe Acrobat Pro 2020.

For more detailed information, please review the following licensing links:

If you are unsure about the Adobe product(s) you need or which license structure is best for your situation, we recommend contacting the ITS Help Desk at 607-777-6420 or helpdesk@binghamton.edu
