Finding Hope: Guidance For Supporting Those At Risk This program offers education and resources on the process of recovery after a suicidal crisis, warning signs to look out for, planning for safety, and crisis response. It also addresses the different treatment levels in the realm of mental health, and how participants can practice self-care as they support someone in their lives at risk for suicide.  10/17
Building Resilience Resilience has been defined as the ability to bounce back from challenges or setbacks. Resilience is not something that people are born with or without, but instead is something that can be developed through adopting some new behaviors. We will discuss some of those behaviors in this workshop. 10/24
Talkspace: Reducing Stress and Burnout We hear a lot about stress and burnout; often interchanging our language around the two, particularly in the workplace setting. Attendees will learn what contributes to burnout and high stress levels in the workplace and how you can help to manage those factors. 10/29
Crash Course in Credit Learn the basics of credit, how to access your credit report, what makes up your credit score, what lenders are looking for when they evaluate credit and more. 10/31
Holiday Spending and Saving Pick up tips on how to plan, budget and save for your holidays – bringing you less stress and more enjoyment throughout the year! These tips are great for other big events, too! 11/20
The Fountain of Youth: Was it in our kitchen all along? Join BUDS dietitian, Julie Lee, for a review of the research supporting the correlation between certain dietary and lifestyle patterns and greater longevity. Learn about the key common behaviors that the world’s highest centenarian populations share and practical ways that you can incorporate them into your own lifestyle. 11/19
Coping with Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) The days are getting shorter. It’s dark when we awaken in the morning, and/or end our workday. While many of us accept being less energetic this time of year, some suffer from Seasonal Affective Disorder, or SAD. Attend this workshop, and learn the difference between SAD and the winter blues, and what you may be able to do to overcome these conditions. 12/3
