Determination of On-Campus or Off-Campus F&A Rates:
There are several items that go into the determination of on or off campus. The ßÙßÇÂþ»-only work needs to be 50% or more project effort and activity at non-BU facilities in order to qualify for an off-campus rate. The off-campus rate will not be applied when a PI conducts research off campus from a domestic residence either for convenience or when University facilities are unavailable. The campus continues to accrue expenses even when activities are off-campus and or personnel are working from home. These costs include PI and project staff office and research space, permanent infrastructure depreciation, salaries, health benefits, and other benefits for research staff. No subaward activities, travel, equipment purchases, or vendor costs are considered when making the off-campus determination.

TABLE OF PRE- AND POST-AWARD DISCLOSURE REQUIREMENTS FOR BIOSKETCH AND CURRENT AND PENDING DOCUMENTS
In an effort to provide the community with helpful reference information regarding pre-award and post-award disclosure information in the biographical sketch and current and pending support proposal sections, the National Science Foundation (NSF) has developed a disclosure table entitled, , to identify where these disclosures must be provided in proposals as well as in project reports. Proposers and awardees may begin using this resource immediately to assist with completing the relevant proposal and project report sections.
As a reminder, current and pending support information is used to assess the capacity of the individual to carry out the research as proposed, as well as to help assess any potential overlap/duplication with the project being proposed.
A revised Proposal and Award Policies and Procedures Guide (PAPPG) will be released next week with an effective date of October 4, 2021, and the disclosures table will be included in this revised version.

Other Support Forms (Just-In-Time [JIT] Requests, RPPR)
Effective 5/25/21, NIH will REQUIRE English language copies of contracts, grants, or any other agreement specific to senior/key personnel foreign appointments and/or employment with a foreign institution for all foreign activities and resources reported in Other Support.
All Other Support documents must use updated format pages which separate funded from in-kind contributions. PLEASE NOTE that Other Support includes ALL resources made available to a researcher in support of and/or related to all of their research endeavors, regardless of whether or not they have monetary value and regardless of whether they are based at the institution the research identifies for the current grant.
Other Support forms now require certification/signature by the investigator, which should be added electronically before the file is "flattened" and uploaded to the RPPR or provided in response to a JIT request.
