The mission of the BMES is to build and support the biomedical engineering community, locally, nationally and internationally, with activities designed to communicate recent advances, discoveries, and inventions; promote education and professional development; and integrate the perspectives of the academic, medical, governmental and business sectors.
We offer a range of events, including academic, professional, community outreach/volunteer opportunities and social events. Some examples include industry visits, research discussions, resume workshops, panel events, game night and ICK (I’m a Complex Kid!). ICK is our largest community outreach event and involves doing biomedical/science based experiments with local kids.
We offer a mentorship program to promote connections and camaraderie within our community. Our club offers diverse opportunities for all members.
Mentorship Program
